“ I know it's not on their menu but they accommodate me everytime for avocado toast! Thank you for having such great service :) ”
“ First off. Hopping atmosphere and friendly staff (Maria was our server). Second, when ordering extra crispy hash browns, she said they now can deep fry them... um, yes please! They came out super crispy and almost buttery in the middle. The chicken fried steak was traditional, with pounded meat and a GREAT crust. It was a bit tough, but very good. The gravy, however, is incredible. Definitely will be ordering biscuits and gravy next time. My husband got chile verde omelette and loved it. I will be back for sure. I need to try the Monte Cristo... ”
“ My wife and I decided on a whim to drive out to Orangevale and try breakfast at Ashley's Country Kitchen. If you are looking for a legit country breakfast, this is your place! Our server Maria was fantastic. Even though every table was full, our drinks never went empty, and the service was fast. We will certainly be returning again soon. I had the S.O.S. and OH MY GOODNESS it was the biggest plate of breakfast I've ever seen! The gravy is amazing and the biscuits are to die for. ”
“ Great food and Maria provided AMAZING service. Will definitely be coming back. All the staff are friendly and courteous ”
“ Had the day off today so me & my better half decided to have breakfast at Ashley's, in Orangevale. It definitely did not disappoint. We were immediately greeted and sat in a comfortable booth, our service from Maria was exemplary, as she was kind, attentive & had an inviting smile. She recommended we try the Sausage pattie, and OH-BOY, was it the BEST!! Cannot say enough good things about the food & our experience, thank you again Maria! Rob & Jennifer! ”
“ Thanks Yelp! for helping us find this new breakfast place. The server Shawna was very friendly and helpful. She explained the place was Burger King originally and they have been open for 13 years. The place has an old county vibe which works well. The portions were hefty and everything tasted home made. I got the country fried steak and my wife got the fajita omelette. Everything tasted great. I look forward to coming back and trying other menu items like the French toast, meatloaf, and SOS. ”
“ As someone who doesn't eat eggs, agreeing to grab brunch at a "country kitchen" can be a bit scary. Luckily, Ashley's has a fantastic menu. While they do have all of the standard things that egg-eaters eat, they also have a decent selection of oatmeal, pancakes, French toast, and lunch items. The prices were pretty reasonable, and many of the menu items were also available in half or petit orders. I was strongly considering ordering the stuffed French toast or the biscuits and gravy, but, ultimately... I decided to order the Pastrami with Swiss sandwich from the lunch menu, with chili for the side. All of it was pretty tasty, although it tasted like something I easily could have made at home. It felt like the sandwich was lacking something, like sauce, or a pickle, or just any condiments at all, really. Our server was fantastic, and did a great job taking care of our large group. I think we had like twelve people, but all of our food came out quickly, and we were able to get multiple coffee refills. The restaurant was noticeably clean, and covered with really cute country-themed decorations. After looking through the photos, I've decided that next time I come back, I'll be trying the stuffed French toast. Overall, the food was better than I expected from a country kitchen, and I would definitely come back again. ”
